Private Non-NHS Work
The Doctors are willing to undertake private medical examinations for insurance purposes and for LGV and other licenses. You may also be charged a fee for other non-NHS services such as private sick notes, private health insurance forms, passports, fitness to travel certificates and holiday cancellation forms.
Please see posters in the waiting area with current BMA recommended charges.
Appointments can be made through reception from whom the details of fees payable are also available.
Medical Cosmetic Treatments:
The Beacon Clinic was opened in 2004 and is run by a group of local GPs all of whom has a special interest in medical cosmetic treatments. They have expanded their medical knowledge and skills and undergone top class training in a variety of cosmetic procedures. Diving Medicals:
Dr Clare Newell is a HSE approved medical examiner of divers and a UK Sports Diving Medical Committee (UKSDMC) referee.

MASTA Travel Clinic:
MASTA provide travel health advice on anti-malarials, vaccinations and disease prevention for the public travelling abroad.
