Your call will be automatically connected to a message giving details of emergency arrangements.
This service is supported and undertaken by local GPs.
Patients will only be seen strictly by appointment.
Please note that this service is not for routine enquiries or appointments.
Urgent Visits & Emergencies During
   Normal Surgery Times:
During normal surgery hours, please telephone the surgery number (01785) 662505. Please tell our receptionist if you need a visit urgently. She will tell the doctor who will probably speak to you to assess the degree of urgency of your call.
Where possible please telephone between the hours of 9.00am & 10.00am so that the doctors have time to plan their list of home visits. Home visits are intended for patients who are too ill to attend the surgery.
Full examination and investigations may not always be possible during a home visit, it is therefore in your own interest that you should attend the surgery whenever possible.
Urgent Cases:
We will always see urgent cases the same day. However, it may not always be possible for this to be with the doctor of your choice or at the time of your choice.
Whilst we reserve a very limited number of emergency appointments in the evening, you are respectively asked to consider whether it is a true emergency or a problem that could be dealt with the next day. The abuse of these appointments could result in patients who really do need to be seen urgently being delayed.
