Patient Confidentiality
General:
If you wish to speak to the receptionist in confidence there is a quiet area away from the main reception area - Please ask.
Your personal details will be kept confidential by the Doctors and our staff members at all times. A limited amount of data is stored on our computer system to which access is strictly controlled in accordance with the Data Protection Act.
Confidentiality for the under 16s:
Your Doctor, Nurses and Health Centre staff provide a completely confidential service to everyone, including teenagers and the under 16s. This means we will not tell anyone about your visit. The only rare exception is if you are at risk of very serious harm. We will always try to inform you first.
A completely confidential contraception and sexual health service is provided by the Practice.
