Home visits are available on request for patients who are housebound, terminally ill or too ill to come to the surgery. All requests for home visits will be assessed by a doctor.

During normal surgery hours, please telephone the surgery number (01785) 662505. Please tell our receptionist if you need a visit urgently. She will tell the doctor who will probably speak to you to assess the degree of urgency of your call.

Where possible please telephone between the hours of 8am & 10am so that the doctors have time to plan their list of home visits. Home visits are intended for patients who are too ill to attend the surgery.

At home the doctor will only have limited equipment and it is often difficult to perform a full assessment of your symptoms. It is therefore essential that if it is at all possible that you attend the Surgery to see the doctor.
